What I'm Loving Right Now.....

Wow - the first week of January has flown by!!! I cannot believe that after three weeks off school I am back to work tomorrow - back to the madness of the school runs, after school clubs and general chaos that term time brings with it.

I took a bit of a break for the blog over Christmas and it was lovely to just kick back with the kids and enjoy some proper time off - that said it's a new year and I am back with a bang!

If you don't already follow me on Instagram - hop on over for a look and see what we get up to on a day to day basis. I am so excited to be going on a photography course in two weeks time - I've signed up to one at the Medicine Garden in Cobham with Vicki Knight and I am hoping to really get to grips with my camera so fingers crossed the quality of my pics will be better! I am also hoping to get back into vlogging on my YouTube channel as I am loving watching lots of my fellow bloggers videos and I am feeling very inspired.

Once a week I am also going to post a feature called What I'm Loving Now - this will be a weekly roundup of what I've been watching, doing, making buying and generally anything that fits into that criteria.

So, week one.... here goes!

I have been loving using my new soup maker - my mum got me one for Christmas and now that I am really giving my Slimming World a good go in an attempt to shift 16lbs by the summer this is really helping. My mum got it from Robert Dyas and this is the one that she chose here. You literally bung everything in chopped, stick in some stock, give it a stir, press blend and twenty minutes later you've got fresh amazing soup with little clearing up! I can't recommend it enough!

On TV I am loving the fact that Will and Grace is back on our screens - I was a huge fan of the American series back in the day and have been waiting for the new season ever since it aired in the US late last year. The characters might be older but it's still very funny.

You can catch up here if you missed the first episode.

I've been trying to keep Hector out of mischief recently so decided to make some busy bags for him to keep him amused for ten mins or so. They are really easy to make and the key is to fill each bag with one activity so as to not confuse them or give them too many options.

I also got round to finally organising the office where I work and where the children's learning resources are all kept. I was very pleased that an hour or so clearing out made the whole room look much better.

And finally talking of tidying and cleaning I finally managed to convince Webbo to get a new vacuum after our old Dyson was coming to the end of its days so we've upgraded to the Dyson V7 Handheld Cordless that we bagged in the sale here.

Have a great week back at school and work if you've still been off!

Much love,

Nathalie x
